A guide to Six Sigma "Belt"
As important and vital is the implementation and use of Six Sigma to keep any business, the certification process for an individual are trained Six Sigma is quite dark.
Basically, there is no official list or specific amounts of training and knowledge they must have to obtain different levels of expertise and organization.
However, there are three levels of specific certification the leaders of the Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt and Master Black Belt.
Green Belts
Green Belts are team leaders of competence are able to organize and educate and Six Sigma teams can easily manage design projects and beyond. Green Belt training is typically composed a week of classroom training, which are often held in conjunction with a company being Six Sigma projects.
Training usually covers different techniques animation, projects and tools of quality management, quality control, problem solving and analysis.
Black Belts
People who do an excellent Black Belts are individuals with advanced high-tech knowledge in statistics and mathematics and are often models colleagues. They already should be involved in your business organization's strategic redesign, including business development processes. Black Belt candidates in general, different environments and are generally not trained in statistics.
But because black belts need to learn a lot of technical tools in a very short time, candidates must be comfortable with advanced math concepts and a working knowledge of quantitative analysis.
Them work to extract useful information from the information system of a company. The success of aspiring Black Belt should be very familiar with computer systems diverse, spreadsheets, database tools and presentation programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint.
As part of their training Black Belt all perspectives should be required to be proficient in the use of various statistical analysis programs such as SPSS.
Master Black Belt
Master Black Belt is the highest level of Six Sigma expertise. Because only Master Black Belts can be and are necessary to facilitate the formation black belt, they know all the belts in black. They also have to understand how the theory of mathematics is related to statistical methods.
Six Sigma Master Black Belt should be able to help their counterparts in the lower level (Black and Green Belts) in the implementation of appropriate methods in the whole process the project.
In general, training in statistical methods must be made only by the Master Black Belt. As the basis of the work of Master Belt Black, communication skills and ability to teach, should be considered as important as technical skills when assessing candidates.
