There are many Korean men metrosexual?
When I got here I realized that many young Korean-colored shirts (pink, purple), tight jeans and bags (for men handbag or otherwise), with good design of the room. Some of them are based oil absorbing sheets in public! So, I thought Korea (Seoul, at least) was a gay friendly place with a bunch of kids Gay. But many of them were really men right with a deep concern their appearance. Later I found Koreans are very homophobic. They believe that homosexuals in Korea. From a Western perspective, Korean "right" people seem to worry too much and are sometimes are too trendy. How do you explain that? Is it just a cultural issue? (Well, I've noticed recently that Korean women are obsessed with their appearance.)
This question of the fun you just had to know. I'm from Korea, but grew United States. So I guess we have a unique perspective on this issue. It is understandable that Korean men can be considered as metrosexual. They like the brand clothes, almost as much as their female counterparts. I hear plastic surgery is becoming popular, even with men. The look is much appreciated. This, however, is much more common with the younger generation than the first. Koreans and other Asian cultures have been promoting these values in thousands of years our history. Today, even in a modern world, involving a man who does what he can to earn a living in a market increasingly competitive than Korea, while doing his best to do it with integrity. The wives and mothers are doing their best to raise their children, their mothers have learned their mothers. Too many children, continued study and after midnight hoping to gain entry to a university. Occasionally they can excrete the recent memory the war that ravaged our country and accept the wealth and modern globalization is the reality of today. Therefore, Koreans displayed. Like all men. While Western men feel more masculine, as they spend hours in a gym, but they act as they do not care about their appearance in the T-shirt you bought at $ 15 Las Vegas nightclub, Korean men feel more masculine wear expensive brands and be fashionable as a status symbol. After all, real men can wear pink. Because we are sure of ourselves. And the men of the West? Why not wear pink? It's just a color. I guess that even with all brawns and "masculinity" which remain precarious. How manly …
