I planned a Greek wedding, help me with a checklist?
Hello, I live in Greece and I am preparing my marriage to my Greek husband (who Politik civil service or a few months ago and next year is the big church thing). I'm pretty sure the only thing my husband does the book of the church and participation the priest and could hold the reception. But I need to know all the other things to do, order, do? All I can think about is the invitations. What bomboniere? Should I take care of herself or make koumbaroi (godparents) must take care of it? Who should I buy gifts and what are the traditional gifts? Seriously, I have no idea at all. I mean if I have to buy a garter belt or something special, because there's a ceremony kind of implying that I know. I need to know to plan, purchase and order, all information that you may think. At the moment all I know is my dress and invitations. Thank you!
