Do Louis Vuitton papillon bags have a cloth interior?

I’ve had a Louis Vuitton bag for a couple of years and am currently looking to buy another one. While searching, I began to question the authenticity of my bag. Until now, I’d thought it was real, but I’ve seen pictures of bags online with a cloth interior. My bag (certificate, upside down print on one side etc) has no cloth interior at all, just dark red leather (as in, the bag of the outside) and has “LOUIS VUITTON PARIS made in France” printed on it, nothing else. Should there be a serial number printed inside? Should it have a cloth interior? It’s the papillon monogram cherry (not cherry blossom, the actual fruit) bag.

Did the leather handles oxidize as you wore the bag more?(real LV handles change from light to dark honey brown with use).. or are the handles EVEN leather?

- yes, there should be a cloth material inside along with a date and serial code.. as far as it saying LOUIS VUITTON PARIS…” inside, well it varies by the type of lv bag. also check and see if the gold buttons say LOUIS VUITTON , its all about the small detail

- Vuitton is not sold at many stores, really just on elux.com and the Vuitton Boutiques.(their own stores)

- the bag you are talking about costs more than 1,200 if its real. you know honestly how much you paid for it and where you got it..

the quality, stitching and workmanship are dead giveaways if the bag is authentic or not. by the way it feels and smells, its very easy to tell the difference. is it cheap vinyl or sturdy lv canvas?

however there are also replicas that look almost the same as an authentic one, but one or two things may be slighty off (different detail, interior etc.)

and please dont even consider buying off IOffer. no authentics there, so dont bother comparing those pics either.

what i suggest doing is getting clear STOCK pictures from online of the bag you have and do a comparision. there are alot of different ways you could tell. if theres an LV store near you, you could get it inspected for authenticity (however, ive heard stories of the bags being taken away if they were of replica quality since they are illegal)
